After a year of planning, our team lead by Pastor Marv Ziprick of Bethel Lutheran Church in Sherwood Park Alberta, set out for Kisumu Kenya. Under the supervision of Darcy Lamoureax of the Emmanuel Foundation we installed a playground at Point of Grace Academy Ogla Beach. Just down the hill, a group from our team ran a Vacation Bible School for 625 kids. Back in Kisumu another team provided First Aid training for 26 Deaconesses. Having completed those projects we journeyed on to Orphanages in Suswa and Neema. Our final stop was at the offices of The Lutheran Hour Ministry in Nairobi.
